There is a difference between a shy and an introvert child. A shy child must not be pushed or forced against their wishes. They should be given more exposure to social events like birthday parties or playing in groups and gently urged to participate. A child’s shyness is not discussed in front of him/her during school hours. We patiently cajole them to participate in school events and behave confidently ourselves so that children can imitate us. Games and role-plays involving social skills are regularly practised.
The prime focus of our campus security is complete perimeter sanitisation. Strict control on entry is key to safety: parents, vehicles, vendors and service providers use separate manned gates. Round-the-clock security is ensured through over 200 strategically located CCTV cameras monitored continuously by our security personnel.
Our buses are equipped with a Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) and on-board cameras, allowing us to monitor speed, location and geo-fencing of the route. Each bus is accompanied by a security guard on rotation and a female caregiver to pick up and drop children safely at their bus stops. Parents / guardians are expected to always carry the Escort Card during pick-up and drop.
We consciously chose to be a co-educational school because we believe students of all genders must understand each other as they grow up – this forms the base of their future interactions. While their residences are separate, they are encouraged to study, dine and play sport together. All activities – academic, co-curricular or sporting – are conducted under the supervision of teachers. Adult supervision is emphasised on campus at all times, supported by strategically located surveillance cameras and guards.
Every academic year starts with an excursion, to create a receptive and fun environment for students who have been newly shuffled into sections or who have just joined us. Students are also sent for educational day trips, exchange programs and MUNs as part of the curriculum. No definite number is decided, as it varies with the requirements of the curriculum.
Yes. We are part of various associations which give our students a platform to participate in inter-school activities.
We believe in a transparent system, so all communication related to financials is uploaded in the public domain for parents to take an informed decision. If, during the year, there is an event or activity we feel is beneficial for students, parents are informed via a circular and consent is taken before any charges are levied.
Choosing a curriculum depends on the scholar’s aptitude, past performance, future career path and family circumstances. For more details, we encourage you to send us an e-mail.
From Grade 4 onwards, students can choose from French, German, Marathi and Sanskrit.
Students are asked to stay back at times for remedial classes to provide extra support whenever required. Regular feedback on homework and progress keeps parents well informed and ensures a closely monitored development programme.
